Porto attacking midfielder Anderson has targeted the UEFA Champions League match against Chelsea for his comeback from injury, but is realistic about his return.
“Chelsea would be a good game to return,” the mercurial Brazilian told Joga. “It is one of the games in which we all want to play.”
Anderson, 18, has been out long-term with a fractured leg, something that has frustrated him.
“No player likes to be injured,” he admitted. “I am sad that I have not been able to play, but happy for my friends: the important thing is that the team is in first place and five points clear.
“This leaves me very satisfied, as does the fact that we are in the second round of the Champions League.”
Pressed on when he expects to appear once more, he replied:
“I do not know. The important thing is to come back at the right time, without forcing myself.”
